Football Coach Quote of the Week

"3-5-13!!!" -Coach Ruzisca

Obviously this quote needs some explanation. Coach Ruzisca was the offensive line coach. Since I played offensive line, I spent the bulk of my time on the practice field with him. If he felt like we were dogging it or giving a half hearted effort, he would get in our face and yell this at us. What it means is "It's going to take 3 doctors 5 hours to get my size 13 shoe removed from your butt."

It was good that Coach held us accountable to give our best effort all the time. It made us work hard. I think that is why we were given the bonus challenge we have this week. Being accountable to others is a great motivation to give our best when we may not want to otherwise. I am planning on staying accountable to others even after this challenge.
