Take twice as long to eat half as much.

You don't realize how strong a person really is until you see them at their weakest moment. Anonymous

Today has been just another day. I've struggled with how to get my life organized in many aspects and one of the top 5 reasons I struggle with is eating right. I want to eat just everything in sight and then somehow that's suppossed to make me happy. It doesn't work that way. I'm using smaller plates when serving dinner or lunch and taking longer to eat it. That way my body actually has time to think about what I've eaten to help me feel "full" sooner rather than after a full order of breadsticks. No I didn't eat breadsticks, but what I mean is to NOT inhale my food. I'm sure I'm the only one that does that!

Team we can do this. WE can succeed and help each other out.

Have an awesome day. I'm off to bed!!

EH :)

  1. You are psychic! I was actually thinking about this today. When I eat I inhale food. Half the time I don't even notice how much I eat! So this is going to be a focus for me from now on.

  2. who switched the blog around? It looks nice! And I agree. I always inhale food. And I swear it takes an obscene amount of time for my body to realize it's full. I ate tonight, a reasonable portion of dinner, and was still hungry, but I knew I'd had enough. So I didn't eat any more. A FULL HOUR LATER I finally felt like I was full. It's frustrating to me! I don't think it should take THAT long, but sometimes, for whatever reason, it does. Sometimes I try to get a couple of servings of vegetables in about 30 minutes before lunch or dinner. I try to think it helps me feel fuller when I eat my dinner. Hope you all are doing well!
