Elaine

So, I chose to take Thursday but if someone else needs that day, let me know.   I'm excited everyday to read your posts/emails to hear what yall have to say.

My quote for today is...  "You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be."  -David ViscottI

I would call us "HOTTIES on the SLIMPOSSIBLE MISSION" but since there's a guy in our group (which is so awesome) I thought I better not!  :)

I just got back from getting a pedicure with Misty.  (One of the tough things about living in a country where it's warm ALL year round.)  I thought it was a great idea that Irene had for us to write a little something about us so I thought I'd take the plunge and do it.  The catch is that I would love for yall to tell us some things about you and then include a picture of the WHOLE family (if possible).  You can do this on "your day" to post or just randomly, but don't wait too long por favor!

Here I go about me... I'm married to THE HOTTEST guy in the world, Ross!  We've been married for 13.5 years and we met at Ricks College.  We have 2 children that we adopted and we had the awesome opportunity to seal them to us in the SLC Temple.  Our daugher, Jessica is 8 1/2 and our son Collin is 3 1/2.  They are so much fun!!  I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN; hence the "yall" just comes out! :)  I have 6 brothers and no sisters.  I love ALL of my family so much and try and find joy in simple things.  Since we've been married, we have literally lived in 7 places.  By far, the most unique is Republica Dominicana!  Ross knows Spanish from his mission to Argentina and I knew none until now.  I'm definitely not as great as Misty is at it, but I'm learning and that's what is important.  I love to watch movies in the theatre.  I just went last weekend to see Mission Impossible and LOVED it.  It's been a while since I've seen a movie and was reminded of why I love action movies on the big screen.  My latest fad is watching the show Castle with my hubby and friends.   We are watching from season 2 right now, so we are trying to play catch up.  We love it.  I've included a picture of me and my cute family!   Have a fabulous day everyone!  Keep up the AWESOME work and know that I think of yall often and hope for the best for everyone! Elaine :)

  1. Thanks for the bio. I love learning about the people I meet. I am with you, I am excited every day to hear what everyone has to say. I check our blog frequently. Since I moved and know NOBODY here, I have a feeling that y'all will be my best buds for the next few weeks ( I can say y'all cause I live in Oklahoma now).

    1. Get used to hearing "yall" a lot. Hopefully you can understand what people are saying...sometimes the southern accent throws people off a bit. Have fun with your new adventure... :)
